Wedding Photography Temple Newsam – wedding photographers Leeds – Temple Newsam wedding photographer
Ian and Cindy married on a glorious English summers day at the beautiful Jacobean mansion, Temple Newsam, near Leeds.
Temple Newsam is a Grade 1 listed building. The estate and house are mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, although the original buildings were replaced and what stands today is mainly what was built between 1600 and 1800. Most of the photos shown below of the ceremony and exterior feature the South Wing which was built in 1796.
Cindy and Ian live and work in China and had invited friends from all over the world. Yorkshire was an ideal central location for their destination wedding!
The wedding ceremony was held in the Great Hall, which opens onto the terrace and gardens. The evening reception was held in the marquee at the Walled Garden. The guests spent lots of time enjoying the weather outside and playing garden games.
Thank you all for a lovely day! I wish you safe journeys back home to China and lots of happy memories of Yorkshire. These are a few previews of the wedding photos – hope you enjoy them!
